Pop-rising Icon in the making, Kanye WEST, was on the uprise - and his latest tour was schedy to be the best yet - then VMAs, Mic jacked, lash-back and now? MTV’s very first video airplay, song “Video Killed the Radio Star,” by the Buggles, was more prophetic than anyone would ever imagine. Why?

Haus of GAGA. Oct. 2, 2009 Miss Gaga was honoured at Billboard’s Women In Music . Gaga accepted The Rising Star honour in New York and dropped this little tidbit: A solo tour beginning this November.
That’s not all.

Everyone knew about the Gaga-Kanye fall tour, ‘Fame Kills,’ but the Fall to January run - surprise. ‘Fame Kills,’ killed. Pop & Hiss and Quicksilverfunsugar watched the precipice The Fame tour was teetering upon and QFS called it before The “Fame Kills” tour was announced in the cinders of the West-Taylor Swift MTV Video Music Awards appearance.
Six Squared. Speculation all across the board if Team GAGA counseled the Lady herself to nix the Fame-Kanye Train. And what about what West revealed on Jay Leno’s talk show:
“Obviously, I deal with hurt, and so many celebrities, they never take the time off, and I never took the time off, really… I’ve really never taken the time off.
“It’s been music after music and tour after tour. And I’m just ashamed my hurt caused someone else hurt.”

‘Bad Romance?’

“Bad Romance” has ‘leaked’ as one of the new songs from Gaga’s Fame Monster reissue due November 24th ‘09, and rumours are 1st gear it’s the song the Hot Diva Miss L’s agreed to perform as music guest on 10.3.09’s airing of Saturday Night Live. Six Quartic. Lady G. slipped it to radio stations Star 94.1 San Diego and KLUC Las Vegas she’s got a, “brand-new-untitled track.”
Gets better.

On The Fame Monster:
GaGa told Rolling Stone her debut’s re-release, includes, ‘a “ton” of new songs.’
“ I think re-releases are unfair. It’s artists sneaking singles onto an already finished piece of work… to keep the album afloat. Originally [my label] only wanted me to put out three songs and now it’s much more than that. It’s a new album’s worth of material.”

What a week for Cancellations! In short order:
Kanye - Out. Paramore - Lead Haley WILLIAMS capped her voice. Geez! - Out. Miley had to cancel. Why? Freakin’ strep before the Omaha, NE show. (Miley Cyrus “tweets” here on Twitter). All-American Rejects Lead Tyson RIITER’s leg is on the fritz, three A2R shows, already cancelled:
The Press: “The All-American Rejects are sorry to announce the cancellation of three upcoming show dates—two dates in support of Blink-182 and one headlining date in Atlantic City. Lead Singer Tyson Ritter sustained an injury while on tour and is taking necessary precautions for a speedy recovery.
“The All-American Rejects will return to the stage stateside when they kick-off their co-headlining tour with Taking Back Sunday on November 3rd in East Lansing, Michigan.” [ All American Rejects.com, Post, Oct. 1, 2009 7:08 p.m. ]

Meanwhile here in Holly, GE, owner of NBC, is making a play - or is it?
The Six. GE needs $4 billion or $5 billion of extra cash and they are trying to figure out how to solve the requirement. It was banking initially on NBC execs five-year forecastings of their divisions for what they hoped would be small unit Vivendi, with 20% in, going ‘public offering’ and selling its share. But Vivendi’s execs have been in their own negoshy - with a deal that can turn Comcast into controlling interest of the network and studio.
Vivendi may decide to keep its stake in NBC Universal for another year if the deal falls flat, and Vivendi Chief Exec. Jean-Bernard LEVY, would like to divest the company’s 20% stake in NBC Universal. The goal: raise cash to expand its holdings in music, mobile and/or video gaming.
GE will need to lend $12 billion into a joint venture, giving Vivendi $6 billion for its interests. The other $6 billion to GE as compensation for equity in NBC Universal and entertainment assets. The joint venture - a private company.
GE, NBC Universal and Comcast are keeping mum on the details but if the deal hashes, Comcast will obtain monies and cable channels into the new private co. that would give it 51% controlling interest. GE would give NBC Universal after owning it for more than 20 years and come out with 49% holding. [ Source,
